HOW To Get WoWME To WORK!
How To Get WoWME To Work -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm kind of tired of seeing people saying they can't get it to work. Just do this 1. Download WoWME if you don't have it 2. Download the Model Edit you want 3. Place the model edit (without renaming) into /Data folder (World of Warcraft/Data) 4. Place all the files in the .ZIP/.RAR into your WoW folder 5. Now, open WoWME.cfg in NotePad, erase all thats in it, and just place the name of the .MPQ you added Example: Code: I downloaded BloodElf2NightElf.mpq I would put.. BloodElf2NightElf.mpq In my WoWME.cfg, without the # or anything, and including .MPQNow, run WoWME from your WoW folder (DO NOT MAKE A SHORTCUT, USUALLY WILL NOT WORK) Before you even type in your username, press 'F8' Now, login, and the Model Edit should work If not, your PC might just fail? I followed this step by step, and yet nothing happened. I start up WoW by running the newest WoWME, I hit F8, type in my pw, and when it gets to my character select screen, its still a human =/

I have some sort of security on my wow it seems, and it tells me that a third party program called WowModelEditor is running and jepidizing my security, and then there is only a QUIT button. Help anyone
 ?

Lots of people are getting this error as of late, deleting the (scan.dll) file in your WoW folder seems to work for some, not sure if it has any side effects tho
